Customer Support Team Lead, US

What defines success for a Customer Support Team Lead?

Ensures that orders received within the Customer Support department are completed within the specified parameters & profit margins established by the sales team. In addition, providing support to the Maars US + NL based teams and dealer partners to ensure that orders run as successfully, optimally and efficiently as possible.

The CS Team Lead identifies opportunities to improve & create efficiency within an existing project execution process, which allows the project team to realize projects from the order phases to delivery. The person in this role also leads by example…leads their own team, monitors processes, progress and the quality of implementation, while making adjustments where necessary.

Key responsibilities

  •  Connection & contact with dealer partners located in the US market
  •  Guide, process, track and place orders within the Maars systems
  •  Communicates, coordinates & places orders with external vendors
  •  Receive, check & validate orders
  •  Collaborate with the Maars product engineering department
  •  Check dealer created templates & create drawings & templates at request
  •  Evaluate product & technical accuracy & specifications
  •  Evaluate product for potential specials
  •  Track shipments & communicate with dealers & team members
  •  Guide and educate dealers & the Maars sales team on the Maars order process
  •  Support sales team with calculations and quotes
  •  Oversee invoicing and credit processing & align w/ finance team based in NL
  •  Periodically visit dealers and project sites in the US market
  •  Be the voice of the CS Team on the Maars US Leadership Team

  •  The Team Lead defines their approach, taking into account existing processes, agreements made and the strategic importance of the projects/ orders.
  •  Ability to manage & implement collaborative approaches and support needed.
  •  Insight, proactivity, critical thinking and leadership skills are the keys to success.
  •  Leadership of the team combines direct and indirect collaboration.
  •  Ability to analyze challenges and obstacles at an operational level.
  •  Has regular contact with the Maars US team and Maars HQ supporting business units.
  •  Results oriented & highly organized.
  •  Customer minded & focused on operational success.
  •  Time management abilities.
  •  Team player and collaborative in nature.
  •  Flexible and agile in order to manage a variety of tasks over time.
  •  Efficient navigating various platforms of technology (Maars4D, CAD, Airtable, Salesforce, Microsoft, ERP systems, Web portals, etc…)
